Glimpse into My Life

Decided to scribble a few lines and share what is new in my life :)
After helping with several mission trips this summer, I came to Virginia to visit my family not knowing what was next. All I knew was that God was transitioning me out of YWAM. Since I have been home, He has been confirming that He is pulling me out of organized/support raised ministry for now, and letting me choose a place to plant myself. At first, it was a hard transition because I am in love with world missions and God's heart for the nations-but I can see the beauty in His timing and how healthy this season is for my heart. My plans are to work and save for several months near my family before this step.

The season I had in YWAM was such a beautiful time, and has brought me deeper into the heart of a God whose love I cannot measure. The same God who is on the move in every nation, is the same God who is pursuing the heart of every individual...and I am forever changed.

This is just a few lines of a much longer process, let me know if you want to catch up to hear  more details of this somewhat-vague blog post :)

Back from Fiji, and am blown away by all that God did while we were there!

During the first week of the Circuit Rider school, hundreds of hungry believers from all over Fiji came to be apart of the teachings that were given every morning. All different ages came to grow in their walk with Christ... it was a beautiful sight to see people from all ages, and all walks of life.

Personally, I ended up sleeping in a church basement during the week with a youth group that drove from the opposite side of the island to be apart of the conference. Sleeping on the floor with a bunch of Fijians became one of my highlights of the week, and ended feeling apart of their family :)

So what did a typical day look like during the conference?? Good question :)

*The morning was filled with a time of worship and praise, followed by a teaching that brought freedom, challenges, and a heart that longs for people to know the same Love we have found!

*After lunch, we had a small break and then most days the students broke up into groups and spread throughout the city telling people about Jesus and praying for the sick. We saw many healings and salvations just through the small amounts of evangelizing we did in the afternoon.

*And my favorite time everyday was our night sessions that were focused for the people in the Lautoka community. It was in the center of the city in a field that was open and welcoming for all to join! We started with music and worship, and then ended our evenings with a message and times and opportunities for people to accept Jesus and recieve prayer... IT WAS THE BEST :)))

****We saw almost 250 people accept Jesus during the week!!!! It was incredible how God is moving in people's hearts. Often we would see whole families come to know Jesus. It was an honor to see heart's changed and plug them into a community/church to continue growing in Fiji.

We saw Muslims and Hindu's come to Jesus... people were so open to the Gospel! Jesus is real and so in love with these people!!!!!

****Also, we saw many healings! A lady with a blind eye was healed, cancer was healed, skin disease healed, deaf ears opened, and many more stories :) it was such a priviledge to see people cry out of joy from pain being completely GONE after YEARS. Thankyou, Jesus.

It was incredible, and I am so thankful I got to be apart of what God is doing in Fiji. I grew so much personally as well, learning more and more how God loves how He created me to love people and how He was so happy to have me join Him during this summer. It has given me more confidence knowing that He loves how He made me to be apart of the body of Christ. I feel that my love for Jesus continues to grow as I discover more and more how much He is in love with us... and from that love, I CAN'T HELP but share with others. :)

What Does Love Look Like?

Time Flieees! Good gracious, only a week until our team of 20 goes back to Kona, Hawaii to graduate. I am still wrapping my mind around all that God has done in and through our team... along with all that I have learned on this mission's trip. Our student's are amazing! So proud of each one of them...We have seen God's faithfulness everywhere we have gone!

Personally, I have learned more what love looks like to people from all places of life... learned to care and love "the one" person that God brings in my path, to sharing my testimony to many people.... Every person has a different story, different background, and a unique way God wants to love and reach. I have learned again how important love is-more than just words. More than just bringing truth-but allowing God's love to open people's hearts. I have been reminded during this time how it isn't us that saves people-it is God! HE opens doors, HE changes people. We are just joining Him- being His hands and feet... with simple obedience and a yes to Him daily, He does the rest.

This time in LA has been the most "normal life" mission's trip I have been on. I have always gone to places in Asia, and places that are more poor-places that are so different than America-so different than my backyard. But this time has allowed me to truly walk out what it looks like to live a normal life (haha sounds funny), but being a light wherever I go. Not out of a striving sense, but out of  being open to God bringing people in my path to love and speak His truth to. Our lives are walking testimonies, and love that I can go to a shopping center and ask God, "Is there anyone you want me to speak to today? Anyone you want me to share your truth with, pray for, or just spend time with?". Reaching people in our country can be harder than going to a third world country where people are so eager to spend time with you, and so aware of their needs and broken humanity. It has definitely been more of a challenge doing outreach in Los Angeles, but so needed for my heart to walk in. I have been challenged in ways that are vital for the rest of my life.

Anyway, more to come! God is changing California :) He is on the move and it is a beautiful thing. Here are just a few pictures of our time:

Team Los Angeles!

Here is a picture of my wonderful team I get the privilege to help lead :)
The school is done in only THREE weeks! And then we will
be sharing the Gospel to people in Southern California, focusing a lot on Universities, along with helping other ministries that are already in place. Please pray for us as we take this journey! We are believing for a Revival to take place in LA that will flow across America within the next few years, and are excited to be apart of God's plan of awakening this nation!

SO MUCH TO SAY!

It has been toooo long since I have written a blog update :)

As of now, I have been helping staff the Fire & Fragrance DTS for three weeks.... It has been incredible. God has done so much in the hearts of the students-that it feels like we have been here for longer! God has brought us a small army, and from all that He has said about these students we were almost nervous as to who He was bringing. He has incredible plans for these 145 students (with several families and 24 children!), many of which have sold everything to come to this training school. Staff are blown away daily at the hunger of this school and their reckless abandon for all that God has for them.

Just this week everyone has been placed into teams for their outreach locations. These are the places our teams will be going the end of March-June. The locations are the following:

*Washington, DC
*New York City
*Los Angeles
*Kona, HI
*Uganda
*South Africa
*Amsterdam/London
*Nepal
*India

WOOO! And I will be going with a team of 21 fiery-eyed-Jesus-lovers to Los Angeles! All these locations were prayed into and where we expect to see tremendous fruit.

God is doing amazing things all over the world!!! And am excited that He is calling me into America at this time. He loves each Nation so much-and doing something different in the world than ever before... we are believing for a Revival like never before in the next several years! There is an awakening happening, no doubt about it! And I have never been more in love with Jesus, and more alive and excited than I am now :) All over the world people are hungry for truth, for a steadfast love, for their hearts to be alive... They are ready to hear about the furious love of our Creator that longs to have a relationship with all of us-that gave the greatest gift that we can be rid of sin and live fully alive! He let His son Jesus DIE for us. WHAT LOVE!! And it's a free gift that saves us from hell-what we deserve. It restores our relationship with God so we can live forever with Him in heaven. SO SIMPLE! And people are ready to hear this truth.

Have faith!
Hope once again.
It's time for us to be awakened.
It's time for unbelief to fall. For us to rise up and join what God is doing! To live for more than ourselves.

whew :)

Needs for 2013:

With all that said, my financial needs have grown because of the fees from airfare and the cost of outreach. As well as the airfare to travel with Circuit Riders this summer. My estimate needs are: $3 grand for LA outreach from March-June, and $3-4 grand for travel fees with Circuit Riders that will start this summer and continue through December (you can look on my previous blog post for more details!). These are things that I feel God is inviting me into to join the awakening in the world. I am so excited to be apart of His plans for saving the lost and reviving the saved. I am also pushed in my faith and dependence in Him for these growing needs financially. Thankyou for considering :)
